SNOWDOGS WELCOME BACK SNELLY FOR 2009 / 10

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Duncan Snell will be joining the Snowdogs as an international player for the upcoming season. Duncan is well known at St Bernard's from his time with us as an international back in 2005 / 06.  He had a very successful year with us then being a major contributor to a team that made the North A finals, only to lose a close Semi Final.  Duncan won the 1st XI Bowling Award with an impressive 19 wickets at an average of 13.21.  He was also a force with the bat, scoring 425 runs at an average of 32.69.
Snelly has just completed a wonderful season in the Yorkshire County Premier League, helping his club York CC clinch the Premiership.  He has scored 1,013 runs in the League at an average of 56.28 in what is one of England's strongest club cricket competitions.
He impressed all at the club back then with his attitude to cricket and his engaging personality, and with a further 4 years of cricket experience since he was last with us, he will be a major asset to the club as we take on Senior Division.  We look forward to having Snelly back with the Snowdogs again!
