We are happy to announce that we have secured the services of an English player as our international recruit for the season, Andrew Parkin-Coates.
Andrew is a 22 year old top/middle order bat, who also bowls medium pace, from Yorkshire. Andrew has played for England under age teams, and has had a stint at County Cricket, playing for Nottinghamshire. He is currently playing in the Yorkshire League, where he regularly locks horns with Duncan Snell, our previous English player from 2 seasons ago. Duncan recommended Andrew as a quality player who will add a lot to our club.
Andrew also has played before in Australia, having spent a season in 2004/05 playing District/Premier cricket with North Melbourne CC, where he made his way up the grades and finished the year with some strong performances in the North 1sts.
